As of Monday 10th August we have reopened but groups and events will only return in a phased programme to ensure we meet with all the Government guidelines. So far everything has run very smoothly and we are happy to welcome back Line Dancing, Slimming World and Weight Watchers. As more groups come on board, group leaders will contact their members with a return date.
The Library will be reopening from Tuesday 8th September (normal hours) but by appointment only. Further details can be obtained after opening from the library direct.
If you are visiting the village hall to attend a group / event / Library etc you MUST wear a face mask / face covering in all public areas, unless you have a genuine medical reason.
If you are looking to book a party or other event the hall will not be available until 2021 but we are happy to take bookings. These will be subject to Government guidelines at the time of the event.
To enquire about the availability of the main hall and other rooms contact:
Christine Holdsworth by email at studleyvhall@btconnect.com
or by telephone: 01527 854489 – please leave a message if no one is available to answer your call and Christine will call you back.
The Main Hall can cater for a wide range of functions from wedding receptions, stage productions & corporate events.
There are various other rooms of different sizes which can cater for activities such as yoga, pilates etc or can be used as meeting rooms for 2 people up to 30 people. We have a room which is ideal as a counselling room.
History of Studley Village Hall
The original Studley Village Hall was built in the early 1960’s and served the local community up until 1997, at which time it was decided it could no longer meet with local demands and so ways were invesigated for improving the hall and its’ facilities.
The new Studley Village Hall was officially opened in June 2003.
The Hall also houses an office for Studley Parish Council with an adjoining Council Chamber
Studley Village Hall is run by a committee of volunteers who meet once a month to determine the way the hall is run. This Village Hall Management Committee, whose members are elected annually carry out the administration of the hall in accordance with a Trust Deed.
