Have you heard about Community Forums?
The Community Forums are local meetings where residents can raise concerns about local issues. They are very informal and wherever possible solutions to those concerns can be worked out by the relevant agencies present at the meetings.
If you have a specific problem or concern a local surgery is held from 6.30pm - 7.00pm prior to the Community Forum meeting where you will have the chance to speak to your local Safer Neighbourhoods Policing Team, Warwickshire County Council or Stratford on Avon District Council Officer. The surgery gives people the chance to have a private informal chat about something that is causing them concern as often people are reluctant to visit a police station or contact their Council as often they do not know who to speak to.
For more information or if you would like to suggest an issue for a future Community Forum meeting, or get involved please contact WCC Stratford Area Office on 01789 260133 or email.
