Library updates

26 April 2012
The Library has now been open for a month and has been a great success. Many residents are regular visitors utilizing the lending facility and internet research access. The volunteers continue to provide an excellent service and would be pleased to welcome any new members to the team. The Village Hall Coffee Shop is also extending their opening hours and will now offer refreshments on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday mornings between 10am and 12 noon.
Visit the library and enjoy a cup of coffee and a cake in the foyer of the hall.

5 new computers for Studley Community Library

3 April 2012
The launch of Studley Library took place on Tuesday 3rd April 2012, the culmination of many months of hard work.

The library will continue to be supported by Warwickshire County Council with the loan stock of books. It will be manned by 12 trained volunteers with the help of many others. At present staff will work alongside the volunteers to help during the transition period.

The opening was very well attended and the library busy for most of the day. Studley Parish Council are very grateful to all the residents who have volunteered to run the library as without their help the library in Studley would be lost forever. They have risen to the challenge and should be congratulated.

It has brought many members of the Community together and the village hall will become a centre for the Community as the Customer Access Terminal is being installed to enable residents to contact Stratford District Council instead of making the journey to Stratford. We hope this service will prove to be as popular.
